The Real Confession

“…men will praise God for the obedience that accompanies your confession of the gospel of Christ…”

2 Corinthians 9 (10) Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. (11) You will be made rich in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God. (12) This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of God’s peoples but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God. (13) Because of the service by which you have proved yourselves, men will praise God for the obedience that accompanies your confession of the gospel of Christ, and for your generosity in sharing with them and with everyone else. (14) And in their prayers for you their hearts will go out to you, because of the surpassing grace God has given you.

A created being can have good theology and go to hell…demons believe and confess the name of the Blessed

Like Peter warned us false teaching has infiltrated the church, including here in America. 2 Peter 1. Peter even prophesies that those false teachers would particularly pervert the things Paul says in 2 Peter 3:15-16. Paul says in Romans 10:10 “For it is with the heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with the mouth that you confess and are saved.” People in america, especially pastors, have used this verse to tell people how to get saved. They say just confess that Jesus is the Son of God not that salvation is accompanied by real heart change and having a new person born in you and that it is not writing down on a card that you believe in Jesus. The gospels that have Jesus teaching us directly confirm what false teachers in their rebellion and perversion of God’s Word conveniently forget to share with us about salvation that is plain from God’s Word. A created being can have good theology and go to hell. In others words, it is possible to believe in one’s heart that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and confess that fact aloud and still go to hell.

Scripture shows time and time again that demons believe and confess the name of the Lord Jesus.

Mark 1 (23) Just then a man in their synagogue who was possessed by an evil spirit cried out, (24) “What do you want with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are – the Holy One of God!” (25) “Be quiet!” Jesus said sternly. “Come out of him!” (26) The evil spirit shook the man violently and came out of him with a shriek. (27) The people were all so amazed that they asked each other, “What is this? A new teaching – and with authority! He even gives orders to evil spirits and they obey him.”

Yet some of you who say you are Christians because you confess Jesus with your mouth and believe that Jesus is the Son of God with your heart do not even prostrate yourselves before God like these demons.

Someone in the temple knew who Jesus was and it was NOT the self-righteous religious folks who in their prayers thank God they don’t sin like homosexuals and other unpopular sinners but in reality have no love for the LORD.

Mark 1:34

Mark 3:11

Luke 4:33

James 1:18

Acts 19:11-18

These demons are confessing the name of the Jesus Christ the Son of God left and right. They even cry out to God to be merciful to them. Yet some of you who say you are Christians because you confess Jesus with your mouth and believe that Jesus is the Son of God with your heart do not even prostrate yourselves before God like these demons. This is the Lord’s word to you: you show God no reverence and for lack of fear of the Lord you will be punished. You who publicly confess with lying lips that you love God with all your heart and show God less reverence than even demons are filthy, wretched, unfit to live on the earth and God is NOT pleased with you.

“…they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them.”

Romans 1: 29 “…They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, and malice. They are gossips, 30 slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; 31 they are senseless, faithless, heartless, ruthless 32 Although they know God’s righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve o those who practice them.”

If you think these words are harsh I assure you that God’s wrath will be harsher. Repent now and be saved. The Lord speaks to you now, gently, through a blog post and through a Bible assembled by the hands of men, Jesus’s second coming will not be subtle. Then the Word of God will be a sword able to cut through human lies, deceptions, and all created beings-humans and demons alike-who slander the Blessed One.

Revelations 19: 13 He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God. 14 The armies of heaven were following him riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean. 15 Out of his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. ‘He will rule them with an iron scepter.’ HE treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty. 16 On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.

This is not “smiling Jesus” who many of us know from pictures in church. This is KING Jesus, coming to take His rightful throne. He has waited a long time for it and is eager. He comes to establish a dictatorship. Rebellion will not be tolerated. For those of you who continue in sin, joyfully and without remorse, know that Jesus is coming back to punish you.

“We know that anyone born of God does not continue to sin…”

1 John 2: 1 “My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have one who speaks to the Father in our defense – Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. 2 He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world. 3 We know that we have come to know him if we obey his commands. 4 The man who says, ‘I know him,’ but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5 But if anyone obeys his word, God’s love is truly made complete in him. This is how we know that we are in him; 6 Whoever claims to live in him must walk as Jesus did.

Jesus sees everything.

1 John 5: 18 “We know that anyone born of God does not continue to sin; the one who was born of God keeps him safe, and the evil one cannot harm him.”

Pastors, parents, friends and bloggers can be deceived.-and even husbands and wives-as we all know very little. However, Jesus is not a limited person. Jesus sees everything.

Revelations 1: 13 “and among the lampstands was someone “like a son of man,” dressed in a robe reaching down to his feet and with a golden sash around his chest. 14 His head and hair were white like wool, as white as snow, and his eyes were like blazing fire. 15 His feet were like bronze glowing in a furnace, and his voice was like the sound of rushing waters. 16 In his right hand he held seven starts, and out of his mouth came a sharp double-edged sword. His face was like the sun shining in all its brilliance.

Luke 14 9 To some who were confident of their own righteousness and looked down on everybody else, Jesus told this parable: (10) “Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. (11) The Pharisee stood up and prayed about himself: “God, I thank you that I am not like other men – robbers, evildoers, adulterers – or even like this tax collector. (12) I fast twice a week and give a tenth of all I get. (13) “But the tax collector stood at a distance. He would not even look up to heaven, but beat his breast and said, ‘God, have mercy on me, a sinner?’ (14) “I tell you that this man, rather than the other, went home justified before God. For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.

A true believer does not tilt her head back and with smile casually remark, “I am so prideful,” with a trail of giggles to follow

What distinguishes the true believer from the demons who confess the Name of God and who appear believe with all their cold, God-forsaken hearts that Jesus Christ is God’s Son, is that a true believer is sorry for their sin. A true believer does not tilt her head back and with smile casually remark, “I am so prideful,” with a trail of giggles to follow. Demons and self-righteous church-going religious folks who think their sin is less disgusting than other people’s sin to God are not sorry for their sin and thus will not go to heaven.

The american church tells people to just believe that Jesus is the Son of God to get into heaven, however if this were true then demons would get in

The Bible does not show that adhering to a certain belief system is key to loving Jesus, but rather loving God above all else.

Luke 14:26-27

Matthew 10:37-39

Christians will love Jesus so much that worldly people may think they hate their life or their parents but really they just love Jesus so much more they are willing even to disobey their parents when there is a conflict between loving Jesus and loving their parents for instance.

Luke 3 (7) “John said to the crowds coming out to be baptized by him, “You brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the coming wrath? (8) Produce fruit in keeping with repentance. And do not begin to say to yourselves, ‘We have Abraham as our father.’ For I tell you that out of these stones God can raise up children for Abraham. (9) The ax is already at the root of the trees, and every tree that does not produce good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire.” (10)”What should we do then?” the crowed asked. (11) John answered, “The man with two tunics should share with him who has none, and the one who has food should do the same.”

If we say we confess Jesus as our Savior we have to do repentance the way the Bible says or we cannot call ourselves “truly sorry for our sin” let alone call ourselves christians.

Matthew 25 (41) “Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. (42) For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat. I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, (43) I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me. (44) “They also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?’ (45) “He will reply, “I tell you the truth, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’ (46) “Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.”

That last one was Jesus talking. Either we do what Jesus says or we cannot call ourselves Christians. He will come back to judge those who falsely claim Him. For those of you who come back with “we’re saved by grace though!” I kindly warn you against correcting Jesus’s theology. If God says give someone who needs it water or visit someone who is sick or in prison to be saved then we best not leave these things undone and call ourselves followers of Christ.
